Embroidered Apparel Care

Washing Instructions

To help protect embroidery, applique, and specialty stitching:

✔ Turn garment inside out before washing

✔ Machine wash cold

✔ Use mild detergent

✔ Wash with similar colors

✔ Use gentle cycle when possible

✔ Close zippers and fasteners before washing

Avoid:

✘ Bleach

✘ Harsh stain removers

✘ Fabric softeners

✘ High heat washing

Turning embroidered garments inside out and using cold water helps reduce abrasion and preserve stitch quality over time.

Drying Instructions

For best results:

✔ Air dry when possible

✔ Tumble dry low heat if needed

✔ Remove promptly after drying

Avoid:

✘ High heat dryers

✘ Over-drying garments

✘ Leaving garments wet for extended periods

Excessive heat may increase fabric shrinkage and place stress on embroidery stitching.

Ironing Instructions

If ironing is necessary:

✔ Turn garment inside out

✔ Use low heat

✔ Place a pressing cloth between the iron and garment

Avoid:

✘ Ironing directly over embroidery

✘ High heat settings

Direct heat may flatten embroidery and damage specialty stitching.

Applique Care

Products featuring applique fabrics should receive additional care.

We recommend:

  • Cold washing
  • Gentle cycles
  • Air drying whenever possible
  • Avoiding direct heat on applique materials
